6 Days Desert Tour From Tangier to Marrakech

 

Day 1: Tangier – Chefchouen -Fes

We’ll drive across the Rif mountains when we meet you where we agreed to. As a result, we pass through Tetoun city and take in the breathtaking mountain vistas as we go to Chefchaouan. One of the beautiful settlements at the base of the Rif mountains is this one. The medina at Chefchaouen included a Spanish-style plaza surrounded by a variety of quirky art and craft shops, cafés, and restaurants on rooftops. So, if we have time, we may pay a quick visit before moving on to Fes. With supper and breakfast, we will spend the night in a traditional Moroccan riad there.

Day 2: Full Day In Fes

With a local guide, we will stroll through the medina (ancient city) after breakfast. One of the biggest and oldest cities on earth is Fes. The fragrant scent of fresh spices, vibrant rugs, and a variety of other Moroccan artifacts will accompany our exploration of the winding alleyways. We’ll stop at Kings Palace, tanneries, potters, and other artisans dotting the streets. After eating lunch in a classic establishment in the middle of the Medina, the tour will be over, and we’ll head back to the hotel.

Day 3: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt – Erfoud – Merzouga

On this day, we will begin our journey across the middle Atlas Mountains toward the southeast through Ifrane, known as “the Moroccan Switzerland,” and then Azrou, where we will make a stop in Morocco’s largest cedar forest to see and interact with Barbary monkeys. From this point on, we continue driving south while passing through a number of settlements and giving you the chance to see nomads traveling in tents. After that, we’ll make a stop in Midelt so you may eat lunch.

Later, we carried on with our trip to Merzouga across the Tizi N’Talghomt Pass (1907m), taking in the breathtaking vistas. You must also pause for a panoramic view of the Aoufous palms along the Ziz River. Day 4: Merzouga Desert- Todra Gorge – Dades Valley

Arrive then at Ouarzazate (the Hollywood of Africa). Finally, you’ll spend the night in a luxurious traditional guesthouse with dinner and breakfast.

Day 5: Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech

We will go to the well-known Ait Ben Haddou kasbah after breakfast at your riad. The biggest Kasbah in all of Morocco. Our Tangier desert excursions will then continue across the magnificent Tizi ‘n’ tichka pass (2260 m) over the High Atlas Mountains after visiting this UNESCO-recognized historical monument. As a result, we will have time to pause, take in the breathtaking views, and visit the cooperative producing argan oil. then have lunch between the mountains. After that, we’ll go to Marrakech in the late afternoon, giving us time to check out the famed square (jamaa lafna ). Finally, spend the night in a traditional riad in the medina, complete with breakfast and supper.

Day 6: Marrakech

You’ll have more time today to discover Marrakech. so until the time of your flight’s departure. The Tangier desert excursions come to a close with a journey to the airport.
