4 Days Tour From Marrakech To Merzouga

Day 1: Marrakech to Dades Gorges

Your tour will typically begin in Marrakech, where you’ll be picked up from your accommodation or a designated meeting point.

You’ll travel through the High Atlas Mountains, passing through stunning landscapes and Berber villages.

Stops might include the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, Ait Ben Haddou (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), and the Rose Valley.

You’ll spend the night in a hotel or riad in the Dades Gorges area.

Day 2: Dades Gorges to Merzouga

After breakfast, you’ll continue your journey towards Merzouga, passing through the Todra Gorges.

You might have the opportunity for a short hike in the gorges.

In the afternoon, you’ll arrive in Merzouga, where you’ll meet your camel caravan for a desert trek.

You’ll ride camels into the desert, enjoy a traditional Berber dinner, and spend the night in a desert camp under the stars.

Day 3: Merzouga and the Sahara Desert

Wake up early to witness a spectacular desert sunrise.

After breakfast, you’ll return to Merzouga on camelback and then continue your desert exploration.

You might visit Khamlia Village, known for its Gnawa music, and explore the desert further.

In the late afternoon, you’ll have another camel trek to your desert camp for a second night under the stars.

Day 4: Merzouga to Marrakech

Enjoy another desert sunrise and breakfast at the camp.

After returning to Merzouga, you’ll start your journey back to Marrakech.

Along the way, you’ll stop at various points of interest and have lunch.

You’ll arrive back in Marrakech in the evening, where your desert tour will conclude.
