Day 1: Marrakech – High Atlas – Ait Ben Haddou – Zagora – Camel ride and night in Berber tent

At eight in the morning, a driver will pick you up from your Marrakech lodging and take you through Tizi N’Tichka port to the High Atlas mountains, stopping along the way for panoramic vistas. Many Berber settlements will be visible along the road. Then, as we head south, we take a diversion and turn onto a different route for 6 km, which will lead us to the fortified village of Ait Ben Haddou, where we will see the renowned Kasbah (declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1986). Famous movies like Gladiator, Obelix, The Mummy, The Jewel of the Nile, Sahara with Penélope Cruz, etc. were filmed on this magnificent set.Lunchtime in the town is free.

Then, as we travel over the Anti Atlas mountains toward Zagora, we advise making a few photo stops. We travel for two hours before arriving to “Zagora desert” at around five o’clock. The ride takes approximately an hour, and we just get to watch the sunset. We leave the car there and ride the camels towards the Berber tent camp.
We’ll take in a performance with drums and Berber music after dinner. In the middle of the desert, we spend the night at the camp, resting in the nomad tent under the stars.

Day 2 : Zagora – Draa Valley – Anti Atlas – Ouarzazate – High Atlas – Marrakech

Early in the morning, we get up to view the sunrise from a little dune close to the camp. After breakfast, we ride camels back to Zagora and then travel to the Draa Valley in our car once more. We stop a few times along the trip to take pictures and take in the breathtaking scenery of the valley that hugs the Draa river. 

The Atlantic Ocean is where this river, which is the longest in Morocco, empties after flowing across the whole nation of Mauritania. After that, we’ll travel via the Anti Atlas to Ourzazate so that we can visit Taourirt.If you like, you can visit Kasbah, the movie studios, and the movie museum. The journey back to Marrakech then begins.
Stop in Tizi N’Tichka port, then have lunch on your own.
After lunch, we carry on with our journey and arrive in Marrakech in approximately two hours. We then transfer to the hotel and our services are complete. Book your tour in SaharaMarrakech
