4 Days Desert Tour From Fes to Merzouga
DAY 1 : Fes – Midlet – Ziz Valley – Erfoud – Rissani – Merzouga Desert
Our private Morocco trip departs from Fez and travels south via Midelt. Ifrane, known as “the Switzerland of Morocco,” will be our first destination. To view Barbarian apes, we make a halt near the cedar forest. As we make our way to Midelt, we’ll travel through Ziz Valley and a few Berber communities. The capital of fossils is Erfoud, and then we’ll go to Rissani. After we get there, we spend this night in a riad or guesthouse in the desert called Merzouga.
DAY 2: Camel trekking in the desert of Merzouga and night in Merzouga camp
We will use a 44-vehicle to tour the desert area after breakfast. We will go to the village of Khamlia where we will meet the local Gnawa people and discover more about their well-known music. After that, we continue our private Morocco trip by going to see desert-dwelling Nomad families. We’ll also go to the fortified settlement known as Rissani. In this section, we examine a typical souk where residents sell clothing, veggies, and spices. After that, we return to Merzouga and ride camels into the desert in the afternoon.
An expert camel guide will lead us as we visit the tallest sand dunes in Morocco. After arriving at the desert camp, we have dinner around the campfire while listening to Berber music and spending the night there. We may take a stroll to a high dune to see the dunes at dusk.
DAY 3 : Merzouga Desert – Rissani – Todra Gorges – Dades Gorges
We shall witness the dawn in the Merzouga desert in the early morning. After returning to Merzouga on camels, we go for Rissani after breakfast. The tallest and smallest gorge in Morocco is the Todra Gorges, which we explore after traveling to Tinghir. After lunch, we will continue our private Morocco trip bypassing the Dades valley. Here, we may go on a stroll within the breathtaking valley. Here, with supper and breakfast included, we stay in a classic, neighborhood riad/hotel amid the Dades gorges.
DAY 4 : Dades Gorges – Ouarzazatte – Ait Benhaddou – Marrakech
The Trail of the 1000 Kasbahs is passed today as we go through the Dades Valley toward Ouarzazate. The center of Roses Valley, Kalaat Mgouna, will serve as our stopping point. We may get rosewater, a well-known local product derived from roses, here. We will go to the local kasbah in. the city as well as the Ouarzazate movie studio. To do so, go to the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, which was erected by one of the last chieftains of the Berber people. Our journey continues as we cross the 2260 m-high Tizi n’Tichka mountain pass, When we get to Marrakech, our private tour of Morocco comes to an end.
