8 Days Desert Tour From Casablanca to Merzouga
Day 1: Casablanca – Rabat – Meknes – Fes
On the first day of our adventure, we depart Casablanca for Fes. The route to Fes passes through picturesque agricultural countryside that is used to grow olives, cereals, vegetables, and grapes. Before arriving in Fes, we will go to Volubilis and Meknes. This area is home to the beautiful Roman remains of Volubilis, the Roman Empire’s southernmost southern stronghold. Meknes, the cradle of the first Arab kingdom established by Moulay Ismail, is home to the Madrasa Bou Inania and the Bab Mansour, the Moulay Ismail Palace’s Gateway. Day 2: Sightseeing in Fes

Early in the morning, we start our investigation of Erg Chebbi’s dunes. We’re going to a Berber home to hear Gnawa music, which has roots in Sudan and Ghana. We’ll see some abandoned mines, some nomadic Berber people, and a palm-tree oasis. For lunch, we’ll head back to Merzouga. After kicking back for a moment, we’ll head out to find the camels that are ready to lead us on an adventure across the sand dunes. In the middle of the Sahara, we’ll spend the night in a fully equipped camp with drum music, giving us a great chance to capture the sundown and daybreak. When we get to the camp and spend the night there, we climb the high dunes to see the sunset.
Day 5: Merzouga – Erfoud – Ouarzazate
We watch the sunrise and then head back to Merzouga. We will be able to take a shower and enjoy a sumptuous lunch, We then set off on our journey back to Ouarzazate, Along the way, we make stops at Berber shops to purchase presents including fossils, carpets, lamps, and leather. After arriving in the afternoon, we spend the night in a hotel in Ouarzazate.
Day 6: Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Atlas Mountain – Marrakech
Before departing Ouarzazate in the morning, we will have one last chance to go to Ait Benhaddou for lunch and a tour. Day 7: Explore Marrakech
