4 Days Desert Tour From Marrakech to Merzouga

Day 1: Marrakech – Ouarzazate – Dades Gorges

At 8 a.m., we’ll pick you up and drive you across the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, which offers breathtaking views of the mountains and Berber towns. Lunch break and visit to Ait Benhaddou, a World Heritage Site. (This renowned kasbah served as the setting for more than 20 movies.) Continue on beyond Ouarzazate to the Valley of Roses, the Dades Valley, Skoura Oisis with its genuine 17th-century kasbah, the Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs, and the Dades Gorge. Invest the night at a hotel.

Day 2: Dades Gorge – Merzouga Camel trek Night in Desert Camp

Hotel breakfast is available. Leave for the Todra Gorge, a vast fault that rises to a height of 300 meters in a little valley dotted with dense palm groves and Berber villages. We’ll drive to the massive sand dunes of Erg Chebbi after lunch in the canyon To go to your nomadic Berber tents, where you will spend the night in the desert, you will need to ride a camel for around an hour and a half.

Day 3: Camel Trekking back to Merzouga – Draa Valley – Ouarzazate

Here, movies like The Gladiator were filmed in abundance. Leave Ait Ben Haddou and begin traveling in the direction of the magnificent Atlas Mountains. Cross the High Atlas Mountains using Tizni Tichka, Morocco’s highest road pass, which offers breathtaking views of the surrounding valleys, mountains, and several Berber settlements.
