9:00 AM:

Start your day by visiting the Taourirt Kasbah, one of the most important landmarks in Ouarzazate. This historic fortress was once the residence of the Glaoui family, who ruled the area in the 19th and early 20th centuries. Explore the maze-like corridors and learn about the kasbah’s rich history and architecture.

10:30 AM:

Take a short drive outside of Ouarzazate to Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the most beautiful kasbahs in Morocco. This mud-brick fortress has been used as a filming location for many movies, including Gladiator and Lawrence of Arabia. Enjoy a guided tour of the kasbah and take in the stunning views of the surrounding landscape.

12:00 PM:

After your tour of Ait Ben Haddou, head back to Ouarzazate for a traditional Moroccan lunch. There are many restaurants in the city center that offer delicious tagine, couscous, and other Moroccan dishes.

1:30 PM:

Visit the Atlas Film Studios, the largest film studio in Africa and one of the most important in the world. The studios have been used as a filming location for many famous movies, including Game of Thrones, The Mummy, and Gladiator. Take a guided tour of the studios and see where some of your favorite movies were filmed.

3:00 PM:

Take a scenic drive through the Draa Valley, a beautiful landscape of palm groves, desert landscapes, and traditional Berber villages. Stop at one of the villages and learn about the local culture and traditions.

5:00 PM:

Visit the Tifoultoute Kasbah, a beautiful kasbah located just outside of Ouarzazate. This kasbah was once the home of the Glaoui family and is now open to the public. Enjoy the stunning views of the surrounding landscape and learn about the history and culture of the kasbah.

6:30 PM:

Return to the city center for some shopping and exploring. Ouarzazate’s city center is a bustling hub of activity, with many shops, markets, and restaurants to explore. Shop for souvenirs or simply soak up the local culture before heading back to your hotel.
